Reality check

Where’s the drama? 9/11 or 3rd world countries?

The September 11 attacks (often referred to as nine-eleven, written 9/11) were a series of coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda upon the United States on September 11, 2001. Excluding the 19 hijackers, 2,974 people died in the attacks”, according to http://www.wikipedia.org/.

“On the other side, Some 18,000 children die every day because of hunger and malnutrition and 850 million people go to bed every night with empty stomachs, a “terrible indictment of the

world in 2007,” the head of the U.N. food agency said”, according to http://www.usatoday.com/.

So, around 3.00 people died in the 9/11 attach, and 18.000 children die every day of hunger in third world countries. Let me put it more simple, maybe it’s still not clear to you: 18.000 people died in one single so-called terrorist attack, and since to this day, around 49.000.000 people died for hunger or malnutrition.

Now, we were shocked about what happened on 9/11, but still have no soul to think about the 49 millions. Did you ever stopped to wonder why is that? What drives us provide credibility to some TV shows, or radio direct transmissions? It’s sick man!

What is the difference between 9/11 and third world countries? We are taught to believe that 9/11 is the kind of event that threaten all our lives, that prevent people for being free. Being free for what? For killing those 18.000 children a day due to our insensibility?

Our mighty governments keep sending expired food, and strange medicines, but what those

people living in third world countries need is some investments in water adductions, in machineries etc so that they could be able to provide their own food – nothing more. And this problem would be solved.

It makes you think on the purpose of officials actions, doesn’t it?

  1. You are the most correct person and right-minded person! If more people were to think like you then those 18,000 children would be put down to zero! A lot of people in the U.S. don’t know how to get off their lazy butts and look around them and the inhumanity they’re doing by not tyring to help!
